There is much discussion in the American parliament about whether women should be allowed to train in some top security units, such as Navy Seals. Senator Lilian DeHaven manages to establish herself and obtain the admission of a female element to try the selection of that body. The choice falls on Jordan O'Neil, an officer in the Navy secret services. Jordan arrives at the camp, and his presence creates havoc, both in the commander and in the other instructor officers and among the other recruits. The training is tough, and, under the command of inflexible Major John, O'Neil spends weeks of hell on the physical and emotional plane, and many expect him to leave the field, a start from the senator who would now prefer a bankruptcy of the his initiative. When the last recruit training exercise is diverted to the Middle East to help troops in difficulty, the major is injured and O'Neil, risking his life, manages to save him and the mission. Upon return, he receives the badge-symbol of admission to the body.
